Growth Up!

Change is oh so good...right?

Of course it is, when it's happening for all of the right reasons, at the right time and when the "growth process" is going well and it's smooth sailing! Wouldn't it be grande if that's how life handed us all of our cards at once? Well, the thing about life is that it is quite the opposite and all that it encompasses is just the same. The one consistent thing is change!

I am one of those peculiar people who embrace and even crave change along with a hearty helping of balance. For the "well" or even the average person change may be an easy process and a part of every day life.  They wake up, get dressed and go about the day as if any other day.  Perhaps a child in school in early years, happily playing with friends and vying for the newest video game or social media craze thus changing with the styles in clothing or tech data.  Maybe college or career age and growing into their own strengths as they make their mark upon the world in business, healthcare, education or philanthropic efforts while changing eating and workout habits to stay healthy; fully able to sustain the new demands of life / work balance.

For those who have entered the world of chronic illness change can seem insurmountable, daunting and at first extremely uncertain.  The path of chronic illness; chronic pain and what appears to be the loss of what "was" may not appear to be "change" at all. In the beginning stages of this journey it may not look like anything.  I know because I have been in that exact position. It took me time to acknowledge, embrace and reframe the unknown into change and then growth. It is the very reason why we are here today as a non profit organization in expansion from our original vision with a passion like never before.

Years ago we started Warrior Wednesday as a blog to share the stories of fellow warriors with chronic and incurable illness(es) and we will always share as you wish to remit your journeys.  Over time we ebbed and flowed back into my background as a certified coach to remind every person we come in contact with that they have a purpose and a plan; they have a truth within them unique to only one.  Illness cannot take that away.  I am no more a car by sitting in my garage than I am an incurable illness by a document handed to me by my physician. I am so much more! You are MORE!

Our mission and vision is total overall wellness through as many avenues and partnerships as we can offer to you and as much as you are willing to receive. We are not physicians yet we can encourage, love on, pour into, lift up and elevate you to your A-HA moment of freedom emotionally, mentally, spiritually and offer advocacy through philanthropy as we always have.  We can grow through what we go through.  Change in inevitable.  It will come; what will we do with it when it does? Are we grounded? Are we centered? Do we have the tools that we need? Have we set healthy boundaries for ourselves and others? Are we willing to release in order to gain? The power of questions is a beautiful avenue to truth and the truth truly does set us free.

We hope you will join us for Warrior Wednesday the first or last Wednesday of each month. We have a wonderful time of growth, powerful discussions and gift giving. If you feel lost, left alone or are in need of some love then we are here for you. No one should journey alone. Love is free and we will gladly give it.  There is HOPE - Help Others Prosper Everyday - here.

You are treasured, cherished and loved,
